Full Moon in Libra: Refreshing our relationship with Life.

pushing throughOn this 4th of April 2015, the Sun is in the constellation of Aries while the Moon is in the constellation of Libra. The Earth is exactly in the middle, hence the Moon Eclipse and the intense energy surrounding us.

There are different types of people. Some like to ram their way into life, others prefer to ponder and contemplate before getting involved. Some like to live with intensity and others like to live peacefully. The complementary signs of the zodiac Aries and Libra remind me of these extremes. Aries likes to jump boldly into new adventures while Libra makes sure everybody is happy before acting. Libra takes time to weight the fairest option for all while Aries is goal driven and acts spontaneously.

It is a subtle balance to find harmony between individual goals and the desire to cooperate with others. It is a delicate skill to follow one’s own inner voice while listening with empathy to other’s ideas. Many have shut their ears to their inner needs in order to be accepted socially, others have refrained from connecting with others in the fear of being drained by the people surrounding them.

This week’s planetary positions are inviting us to innovate and refresh our relationship with Life.

Now is the time to try something new, now is a great time  to drop the fears of our little personality and trust Life’s force moving through us all.

What inspires you?

This Sunday is also Easter, one of the most important Christian celebrations. Symbolically it represents REBIRTH. Like Nature reawakening  from a long and rejuvenating winter sleep, we too are invited to start anew. Like a young sprout pushing through the earth to meet Life, we too are invited to push through our comfort zone into more vibrancy.

What little daring step are you going to give yourself permission to do today?
Are you tempted to smile to a stranger? What about shamelessly singing in your car in traffic?

IT IS TERRIFYING to show who we are or what we truely want! We never know what will happen once we show a piece of ourselves out there. And we want to be loved, and we want to feel safe… oh yes we love that! But what do we really risk in being a little more spontaneous and enthusiastic? If the light inside has been blurred for a while, if being a goodie goodie has left us frustrated; if meaning has evaded us for some time then what do we really have to lose?

funNow is a time to push through the safe cocoon and meet Life again. If you hear the call of Fire inside of you, the call of Life burning for magic and meaning inside… then let’s dare together… Despite the shyness and awkwardness let’s dare as fools on the path of Life: Free and Playful!

Happy Full Moon and Eclipse!

  1. I REALLY wish I could be there and talk to you in person AND I’m SO READY to do another Ka Retreat al El Arka but I have decided to stay on here in Death Valley and save some more money. Today I woke up feeling empty and a bit lost. I didn’t write to cry or complain about my life as it’s going just as it is supposed to. I just wanted to say Thank You for the inspiring words and tell you that I’m thinking about you. Hope all is well for you and your family. I miss you all!
