Full Moon in Taurus and Sun in Scorpio

labyrinth moonTaurus is about grounding and giving shape to energy. It is linked to the recognition and proper use of desires. Desires can inspire us to move forward yet they can also enslave.
The sign of Scorpio is about transformation and finding peace amongst the continual changes we go through. It invites us to seek beyond the surface and look deeper at what IS.

These two zodiac signs have amazing endurance and perseverance and this Full Moon requires that. It is inviting us to go to the root of our desires and witness what it is really about.

Venus, Mars and Jupiter are in the sign of Virgo, the sign of the meticulous worker. It is an invite here to continue to practice the activities that help us thrive. It reminds us to be patient and to ground our daily actions in what we truly value.
The presence of the outer planets (Uranus, Neptune and Pluto) is strong for this Full Moon. The outer planets represent unconscious forces. Many of our body functions are regulated unconsciously. Sometimes if we are shy or uncomfortable we may blush. Even thought we would prefer to hide how we truly feel, our body responds automatically. In a similar way, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto are forces that operate beyond our control.

During the days preceding and following the Full Moon we could feel shaken and a little bit out of control. We could be surprised at the intensity of emotions and/or confused as to what to do.

This full moon in Taurus is inviting us to stay present and determined to listen. It invites us to fully experience what is coming our way. Be curious to what you feel and what is underneath it. For example, if you feel angry ask yourself what the anger has to say, what is it trying to show you? Emotions are messengers bringing attention to what lies underneath. Hold space for what you feel in a respectful and safe way for you and others.

Let’s not turn away. Let’s continue even though we may be invited to witness the parts inside of us and others that are hurting and screaming in pain. Let’s find enough love to peacefully hold space for these neglected parts of us. Let’s break through the veils that are too often isolating us from each other and dare express with vulnerability what is really going on.
Halloween is approaching giving permission to the witches and ghosts to come out of the closets, may we use this opportunity to greet our own scary monsters with laughter and not take ourselves too seriously.
