For some this Full Moon could feel like opening a can of worms. The Sun, Mercury and Chiron joining in Pisces in tension with Saturn bring to awareness what is normally veiled. It invites to witness the ugly as much as the beautiful without distortion. The process can be painful and liberating as the masks fall down and reality hits home.
This Full Moon in Virgo is inviting for more integrity and humility in our lives. It takes a lot of love to witness the uncomfortable aspects of our personality and it takes a lot of perseverance to slowly embrace them. To daily express ourselves with authenticity and follow our unique rhythm require a lot of patience, honesty and presence.
An important lesson on the path of Virgo is understanding the intention behind our actions. In the midst of an argument or before making a decision let’s take a moment to ponder and remind ourselves what we are trying to achieve.
What is my intention here? Do my attitude and actions convey my intention? What are the adjustments that I can make right now to be in better alignment?
A clear intention, like the needle of a compass, guides us despites the challenges of the path. For example, if I remind myself that my intention is peace during an argument with my love partner I will be more open to hear his side than trying to prove I am right.
Venus started its retrograde motion in the sign of Aries on March 4th and will continue until April 15th. Venus retrogrades every 18 months and during these periods invites us to revisit what inspires us, what brings joy and also how we interact in love relationships. This time Venus is involved with the planet Pluto and is likely to bring old relationship patterns to the surface.
The last week might have felt intense and sensitive for some of us. Pluto involves a shattering and dissolution moment before adjustments can take place. Even though we know that vulnerability is the key, too often our protection mechanisms kick in and we retreat out of reach. As we are taken by the chaotic dance of emotions let’s remain as present as possible. Something is trying to emerge through the messiness. Birthing is often painful and not always graceful but what comes through it is so worth the pushes. We are collectively birthing new ways to cooperate and relate intimately to one another.
We are in a powerful time of healing and integration. Something is trying to emerge from the depths of the collective unconscious. To me it feels linked to the feminine energy but who knows… Let’s be curious enough to bare the surges and intensity of the journey and find the little daily rituals that enable us to continue to lovingly put one foot in front of the other.
Happy Full Moon in Virgo!
